San Diego Ruff Ryders Message of Support and Community

at Centre City Corps Community Dinner

Every weekday evening, the Centre City Corps serves a meal to community members. On the Thursday night before Christmas, friends of The Salvation Army made this meal extra special. The San Diego Ruff Ryders distributed blankets, socks, and words of kindness.

Ruff Ryders is a worldwide organization formed in 1988 dedicated to riding motorcycles, but it has many other facets, including volunteering. In addition to supporting The Salvation Army, they give back to the community in many other ways, including freeway clean ups, single mother/father home life sponsors, feeding the homeless, and adopting families for holidays.

Over 120 dinner guests at The Salvation Army received supplies from the Ruff Ryders on this special evening to battle the cold night, but they also received a warm and caring message of hope.
